WE ARE HUMMINGBIRD
Our humble beginning originates in the northern market town of Chorley. Originally set up by 2 friends after the tragic suicide of a close friend but we have steadily grown our TUNE* of Hummingbirds.

Today, we have a team of 7 incredible volunteers, each with their own lived experience of varying degrees of Mental Health, fighting for the same cause: to shorten the gap between being alone and getting the help you deserve.
We’ve created a community of over 10,000 hummingbirds - all connected by a love for music and an all-too-real awareness of mental health.

Every Friday, we post a playlist, submitted through social media from someone sharing their mental health story, told through the soundtracks of their life.
WHAT ELSE DO WE DO?

We fill our website with hints, tools and guidance for the moments when your mental health needs support, and when you want to see celebrations of mental health.
​
To date, our sister company, We are Hummingbird Health, has trained over 5,000 people to bring awareness and support into workplaces across the country - ready to help people in their moments of need, in a place they might not currently feel able to ask.
​
We are a team of experts and volunteers that are passionate advocates for mental health and the ways we can improve, protect and support our own and each others.
